EVERYBODY LOVES PANDAS!
Arguably the cutest animals in the world, pandas are also believed to be a symbol of peace and good fortune.
Chinese people have considered pandas special for thousands of years, believing they could ward off evil spirits and natural disasters.
The phrase “Like a Panda” means: Curious. Kind. Sensitive. Playful.
Some panda facts:
- In 2004, a survey counted 1,600 pandas in the wild
- An adult panda can weigh about 100-150kg and grow up to 150cm
- Pandas have the digestive system of a carnivore, but they have adapted to a vegetarian diet of
- bamboos.
- A panda may eat 12-38kg of bamboo a day
- The panda cub is 1/900th the size of its mother, one of the smallest newborn mammals relative to its
- mother’s size.
- Pandas are good tree climbers.
- When breeding, pandas require at least 30km² to support them over the short term.

This week is dedicated to all the sweet things in the world so this weeks DIY project is also uber sweet and easy to make - Panda sleep mask.
What you need:
- Black and white (or any color) fabric
- Elastic or Ribbon
- Scissors
- piece of paper
You can either hand sew the detail to the mask or use a sewing machine if you have one. The especially lazy (like me) can use spray glue or any other glue. Whatever works for you <3
